| My TomTom 720 isn't being recognized by my computer. I tried resetting but it still doesn't come up? It still has a green charging light. I tried using another computer and a USB cable (not the dock that it comes with) and not one thing comes on Your post is a bit ambiguous. Is it just the two computers do not recognize the GPS is connected or does the GPS unit even come up and lock onto satellites and navigate? Has it ever worked? With you attempting two computers and 2 USB cables, if the problem is just that the unit will not connect to the computer, then you have proved that the problem is with either the GPS unit or it is mount (assuming this Tom Tom is similar to mine). Take a look at the mount beneath good light and see if the connector is damaged in any way. If it doesn't navigate either, then you without doubt or question got a bad unit and all you may do is return it to where ever you purchased it.
