| Garmin GPS froze after I put a MicroSD card in it? I've had this GPS for rather a while, with no difficultnesses from it. A couple days ago I buy a brand new MicroSD card for it, put it in, and go to type my PIN in and it freezes completely. I restart it, go to type my PIN in, same problem. Took the battery out, everything. Once in a while it will let me put the PIN in, but freezes shortly after. Anyone have any suggestions? Its no longer underneath warranty from Garmin, and I genuinely don't have the extra cash to have it sent in. Have you tried updating the firmware? Garmin is normally finelooking good with their client support, at least in my experience. I own three Magellan receivers and three Garmins.
